💜🩵 September is Su***de Prevention Month.

This one is personal for me.

I know what it is like to lose someone close to su***de. I know the questions that are left behind, the things you wish you could have said, and the overwhelming wish that they could have seen themselves through the eyes of the people who loved them.

That is why I will always believe this conversation matters.

Mental health struggles do not always look the way we expect them to. Sometimes the person who is hurting is still working, laughing, taking care of everyone else, and saying, “I’m fine.”

So check on your people. And then check on them again.

And if you are the one struggling, please hear this: you do not have to have the right words. You do not have to explain everything. You can simply say, “I’m not okay, and I need someone.”

Your life matters. Your presence matters. And asking for help is never something to be ashamed of.

At Thompson Family Health & Wellness, we want our patients and our community to know that mental health is health, and you deserve to be cared for—body and mind. 💜

My husband and I took a little time out of our Saturday to donate blood with Blood Assurance. ❤️

Working in healthcare, we know how quickly an ordinary day can turn into someone’s worst day—and how something as simple as a blood donation can make all the difference. Trauma, surgery, cancer treatment, complicated deliveries, chronic illness… donated blood is something you hope you never need, but you’re incredibly thankful it’s there when you do.

One small act. A little bit of time. And the opportunity to help save a life right here in our community.

If you’re new around here, welcome to Thompson Family Health & Wellness!

We’re a locally owned and operated family practice with one pretty simple mission:

Take good care of our community.

We believe healthcare should feel personal. You should know who is taking care of you, feel comfortable asking questions, and never feel like you’re just another name on a schedule.

Our goal has always been to provide quality, compassionate healthcare close to home—from the everyday stuff to the things that require a little more time, attention, and figuring out.

We provide comprehensive primary and acute care, chronic disease management, preventive care and wellness visits, DOT and sports physicals, hormone replacement therapy, weight management, aesthetic services, and more.

But what we hope you notice most isn’t the list of services.

It’s the people in this picture. 💙

We’re your neighbors. We live here, work here, raise our families here, shop at the same stores, sit in the same school pickup lines, and care about what happens in this community. When you trust us with your health—or the health of someone you love—we don’t take that lightly.
