We were truly honored to welcome Jarrett O'Shields to No More Tears Recovery to share his testimony with the men in our program.

His story was powerful, authentic, and filled with hope. Hearing firsthand how God can transform a life through perseverance, faith, and recovery was an incredible encouragement to everyone in the room. Testimonies like his remind us that no one is beyond redemption and that lasting change is possible.

Today we had the opportunity to spend time with the teams from Willow Grove and Freeman Recovery Center as they came out to tour our program. We are grateful for the chance to connect, share ideas, and see firsthand how different organizations are working toward the same goal.

One of the greatest things about the recovery community is that we are stronger when we work together. Recovery is not about competition—it’s about collaboration. It’s about building relationships, creating resources, and making sure that when someone reaches out for help, there is a network of people ready to meet them where they are.

We loved the opportunity to tour together, learn from one another, and strengthen the connections that help make recovery possible in our communities.

Because at the end of the day, it’s all about going after the one—the person who is still suffering, still struggling, and still searching for hope. If we can come together and help change one life, every effort is worth it.

Thank you to Willow Grove Recovery and Freeman Recovery Center, LLC for taking the time to visit. We look forward to continuing to work together to bring hope, healing, and recovery to those who need it most. ❤️

We want to take a moment to recognize VOL Construction Company and its owner, Mitchell Ross.

Mitchell's vision was never just to build houses—it was to help rebuild lives. No More Tears Recovery was founded with a mission to help men overcome addiction and find a new way of life. As the program grew, Mitchell quickly realized that the income generated through the program alone would never be enough to cover the costs of housing, transportation, utilities, staffing, and the many expenses that come with helping people rebuild their lives.

That's when VOL Construction Company became more than a construction business. It became another way to support the mission of No More Tears Recovery.

Every project completed by VOL Construction Company helps support recovery efforts in our community. The work they do helps provide opportunities, resources, and stability for those fighting to change their lives.

Shawn and Tabatha own and operate Freeman Recovery Center, LLC, and they understand firsthand the challenges that come with helping individuals find and maintain recovery. Their ongoing encouragement, support, and commitment to the recovery community mean more than words can express.
