Today is Thank a Police Officer Day. 💙

Not just for the badge they wear, but for everything that can come with wearing it.
The long shifts. The missed holidays. The calls that don't end when the shift does. The things they see, hear, and carry that most people will never know about. And the families at home who carry part of it with them.
Today, take a minute to thank a police officer... sometimes the people who spend their careers showing up for everyone else need to know someone sees them too.
To the men and women in law enforcement, we appreciate you. Stay safe, take care of your people, and don't forget to take care of yourself too.

Today, September 12, is National Police Woman Day, recognizing the women who serve in law enforcement and the contributions they make to their departments and communities every day.

At GRIT, we know wearing the badge comes with a weight most people never see.

Today we recognize the women in law enforcement who show up, make the hard calls, lead, protect, and take care of their people, often while carrying their own experiences quietly.

To the patrol officers, detectives, investigators, corrections officers, supervisors, command staff, and retired women who have served:
We see you. We appreciate you. And GRIT is proud to stand with you.
