🚗🎉 Bartels loves a parade... and this year, we showed up in style!🎉

Residents and staff joined the fun at the Waverly Heritage Days Parade, whether they were riding in the parade or cheering from the sidelines with front-row seats. We even had a very special VIP along for the ride... a resident celebrating her 101st birthday! 👑🎂 Just look at that smile and crown, because when you're 101, you deserve parade royalty status!

She and several other residents cruised through the parade in Bartels' brand-new golf cart, made possible by an incredibly generous donor. Talk about arriving in style! 😎

A huge thank you to the families and staff who helped make this memorable day possible. Your support, smiles, and helping hands ensured our residents could be part of all the Heritage Days excitement.

Parades, birthdays, community spirit, and a little golf cart glamour... we'd call that a pretty great day at Bartels! ❤️🎈

Our Bartels staff brought their A-game to the Fourth of July Fair, and wow—it was a star-spangled success! With 18 pies and a variety of creative projects entered, the competition was fierce, festive, and full of patriotic spirit. Thank you to Waverly's mayor Kristin Happel for judging the pie contest!

🚜💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙🚜
To celebrate Father’s Day, Bartels treated several of our gentlemen to a special outing at the John Deere Museum in Waterloo! The group enjoyed exploring the history of John Deere, taking a trip down memory lane, and sharing stories from their farming days.
From reminiscing about tractors they once drove to recalling life on the farm, the tour sparked great conversations and plenty of smiles. It was a wonderful day filled with memories, laughter, and appreciation for the fathers and father figures who have shaped our lives.
Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads! 💚

🤠 Yeehaw, partners! 🐎 Bartels kicked up its boots and dusted off its denim for a good old‑fashioned Hoedown for everyone across campus! Our residents had a rootin’‑tootin’ great time tapping their toes and clapping along as the Wilder Park Line Dancers brought the twirls and country charm!🕺🎶
