✨ Face Yoga: More Than Just a Beauty Trend ✨
We offer personalized focused sessions one on one or with your own group

Did you know your face has over 40 muscles?

Just like the muscles in the rest of your body, they can become tense, weak, overworked, or underused. Face Yoga combines gentle movement, stretching, breathwork, massage, and awareness to help support healthy facial muscles and relaxation.

🌿 Benefits may include:
• Reduced jaw tension and TMJ discomfort
• Relief from forehead and facial tightness
• Improved circulation
• Reduced stress held in the face and neck
• Increased awareness of facial expressions and habits
• A natural approach to supporting healthy aging

Many people don’t realize they spend all day clenching their jaw, furrowing their brow, or holding tension around their eyes. Face Yoga helps bring awareness back to these patterns while creating a moment of self-care and relaxation.

At Waverly Massage & Wellness, our Face Yoga sessions are personalized and can include:
✨ Facial massage
✨ Gua Sha techniques
✨ Breathwork
✨ Lymphatic support
✨ Neck and shoulder release
✨ Self-care practices you can use at home

Imagine leaving a session feeling lighter, more relaxed, and refreshed—not just in your face, but throughout your entire body.

📅 Curious what Face Yoga can do for you? Schedule a session and experience the difference for yourself.

There’s no such thing as “the best LMT.”

And honestly, trying to rank therapists like that doesn’t even make sense when you really understand what massage therapy is.

Every Licensed Massage Therapist brings something different to the table.

Some specialize in clinical work, some in spa relaxation. Some work alongside chiropractors, some run their own practice. Some live in big cities with endless continuing education options, others are in small towns doing the best they can with what they have. Some are constantly learning and growing, some stick to what they know and do it well. And yes—there are even people doing massage work without a license in some spaces.

We are not meant to be the same.

That’s exactly why intake forms matter. That’s why listening matters. That’s why asking “what does YOUR body need today?” matters more than comparing one therapist to another.

At Waverly Massage and Wellness, we are licensed through the Ohio State Medical Board, and we follow HIPAA guidelines to protect your privacy and your care.

We don’t do cookie-cutter sessions and we don’t entertain comparisons like “who’s better.”

We focus on you.

Your pain patterns. Your stress. Your history. Your body’s current state—not someone else’s opinion of what massage “should” feel like.

Because real care isn’t about competition.

It’s about precision, presence, and meeting the body where it is.

WELLNESS WEDNESDAY ✨

Not all bodywork is created equal.

Let’s talk about Myofascial Release.

A lot of people think it’s just deep pressure, stretching, or “working out knots.”
It’s not.

Myofascial Release is a specialized technique that requires education, training, anatomy knowledge, and the ability to assess how the body’s connective tissue (fascia) affects movement, pain, posture, and function.

Fascia surrounds every muscle, organ, nerve, and structure in the body. When it becomes restricted due to injury, surgery, inflammation, repetitive movement, stress, or trauma, it can create pain and tension far away from where you actually feel symptoms.

That’s why simply digging into a painful area isn’t always the answer.

A trained therapist understands:
✨ How fascia works
✨ How restrictions travel through the body
✨ How scars affect movement and pain
✨ How to assess the root cause instead of chasing symptoms
✨ How to work with the nervous system, not against it

True Myofascial Release isn’t about force.
It’s about precision, patience, assessment, and specialized training.

Many clients come in after trying stretching, medications, massage guns, and even other forms of massage and are surprised by how different a true Myofascial Release session feels.

Have you ever been told your pain is “just tight muscles” but never gotten lasting relief?

Your body may be asking for a different approach.
