Caring for a loved one can be rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming. You do not have to do it alone.

Join us on June 23rd at 3:00 PM at Waverly Hills Post Acute for our very first Caregiver Support Group! A welcoming space where caregivers can connect, share experiences, and gain practical support from experienced professionals.

Topics include:
-Safe transferring techniques
-Bathing and personal care best practices
-Tips to prevent caregiver injury
- Stress management and burnout prevention
-Open discussion with fellow caregivers

This group is free to attend, and caregivers of all stages are welcome.

Success stories like this are why we love what we do at Waverly Hills Post Acute

Pictured below is our friend Jesse with one of his therapists, Meggen.
When Jesse came to us after brain surgery, he needed assistance with everything. Determined to help him return to the life and people he loves most, our therapy team got creative. Since Jesse has two precious grandbabies waiting on him at home, our therapists made a 10-pound “baby” for him to practice safely holding, carrying, and caring for during therapy sessions.

Day by day, Jesse grew stronger, more confident, and more independent.

Yesterday, Jesse walked out of our doors COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT! 🎉

We are so proud of his hard work, determination, and positive spirit. Thank you, Jesse, for allowing us to be part of your recovery journey. Your Waverly Hills family is cheering you on every step of the way! ❤️

Carnival Day at Waverly Hills Post Acute was a huge success as we celebrated Nursing Home Week!

Our team and residents had an amazing time dunking staff in the dunk tank, enjoying delicious food, playing fun games, and making lots of great memories together. Seeing everyone laugh, smile, and enjoy the day made it extra special! Thank you to Caris Hospice and Volunteer Hospice for also showing up to support our residents. We appreciate the love 🥰

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a fun celebration. We’re grateful for our incredible staff, residents, and families who make Waverly Hills feel like home every day. ❤️

🤠🐴 Western Day was a rootin’-tootin’ good time during Nursing Home Week! Our residents and staff had so much fun dressing up, playing games, laughing together, and making wonderful memories. Our residents had an absolute blast cooling off with a fun water fight, filled with lots of laughter and smiles! 💦😄 A huge thank you to Caris for cooking delicious hamburgers and hot dogs for the staff — it was the perfect way to enjoy the day together.
