🌺We have some new followers here so I would like to take time to introduce myself.
🌺Hi! I’m Katie, and I have been apart of the health and wellness community here in Ellis county since 2017. I began my journey into health when I started working for Anns Health Food Center in . Around the same time , my dad was struggling with complications with early onset dementia. This devastating reality inspired me to learn and understand how our health directly correlates to disease in the body.
🌺2020, the CVD pandemic hit the scene and I had just began the path of owning my juicing company. I have always took interest in understanding how our diet can change our health. I ran my juice bar, Mother Masons, here in hachie for about 2 1/2 years. During that time, I met so many amazing health and wellness partners that practice here in Ellis County. It was truly inspiring to see how many people were investing into businesses with like minded interests.
🌺The change in our economy post pandemic , I had to make the hard decision to stop the juicing gig, and get a “real” job. Ego aside , this was the best decision for myself and my children. I began working for another amazing wellness business, Texas Cryoworks Total Wellness Center here in hachie. They were ahead of the curve in technology and modalities that help the body heal naturally. It was amazing to see the difference in peoples pain and health when I worked with them.
🌺January 2023, my life changed forever. My husband, the father of our 3 children ,took his own life. 2 months later my dad passed away. 2 tragic deaths back to back , broke me in ways that are hard to describe , even today. Through grief and tragedy, something changes in a person. I began to dive deep into holistic healing, not just the physical part, but the spiritual part. Lord knows I’m not perfect and I have made many mistakes. I took accountability for myself and my own actions and emotions. I did not want to fall victim to the pain , and refused to let emotional pain hurt my body physically.
🌺I started to work again, and thankfully TX Cryo gave me the opportunity to start another juice bar, Press Juice Bar in 2024. I was the creative and manager of that bar for 2 years. I was able to put my heart into each recipe. In a way, it was like coming full circle. I truly grieved losing my juice bar and to have a this opportunity was a rewarding redemption.
🌺In April of 2026, I decided to retire from the juice biz. Although rewarding, I was ready to leave that part of myself. It felt complete and I was ready to move on. I took time off from work and began to fully invest into myself. Something I have never done before. I got certified in Lymphatic Enhancement Technology. My dear friend ( that I met at Ann’s years ago) gave me the chance to work at her amazing massage studio , Healing Touch Massage Studio. I love doing LET for so many reasons. The first one, of course, is being able to help people heal their bodies naturally. The other, and most important reason, is the connection I get to have with clients , and help their nervous system go from “fight or flight” to “rest and digest”.
🌺Being a healer is who I am. The struggles and adversity is what made me. Helping people is my reward, my purpose. I’m so grateful for the opportunities and connections I have made over the years. Even more so, I’m blessed to have had the chance to speak love and hope on to others. I’ve had so many inspiring conversations with clients, and that is always the reward. Being the light to someone’s darkness.
