You know it’s going to be a GOOD day when you walk in and there’s a HUMONGOUS box of donated goodies waiting for our residents! 💛📦

There’s just something extra special about opening a box filled with items that someone thoughtfully chose to give. Every little thing inside means another opportunity for an activity, a smile, a treat, or simply a little extra joy in someone’s day.

We are so incredibly thankful for the wonderful people in our community who think of our residents and continue to support what we do. Donations like these may arrive in a cardboard box, but what’s really inside is kindness. 💕

At JOJ Healthcare Center, we are always blessed with a beautiful worship service, but this one was centered on one of life’s greatest gifts: love. ❤️

Our chaplain, Mark Williams, shared a heartfelt message that truly touched every corner of the room. His words were a powerful reminder that love is patient, kind, and present in the everyday moments we share with one another.

Watching our residents listen, reflect, and worship together was a beautiful reminder of the peace, hope, and comfort that faith can bring.

Thank you, Chaplain Mark, for sharing a message that moved our hearts and reminded us all that love is at the center of everything that truly matters.

⏳✨ Throwback Thursday was a blast from the past! ✨⏳

Today our team stepped back in time for Decades Dress-Up Day, and we had just about every decade represented—from the roaring ’20s all the way to more modern times! Some decades were even popular enough to have multiple representatives.

Not everyone had the chance to dress up, but thanks to a little AI magic, we were able to give everyone a fun throwback look! It was a great way to include the whole team and add even more smiles to the day.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who dressed up and embraced the spirit of the day, and an extra thank you to those who let us use AI to transform your photos into your chosen decade. Your willingness to join in made today’s memories even more special.

Our residents had so much fun seeing all the different eras come to life, reminiscing about years gone by, and sharing stories along the way. Days like these remind us that sometimes the best memories are made by celebrating the past together.

🧩 Puzzle Success at Plantation Suites!
Our residents at Plantation Suites love working on puzzles, but no one works harder than this amazing lady! This puzzle was especially challenging, with its detailed rocks and flowing water, but through patience, focus, and persistence, she completed it last Friday.
Puzzles are a wonderful way to keep the mind active, strengthen problem-solving skills, and provide a rewarding sense of accomplishment.

🍦❤️ Happy National Ice Cream Day from Baptist Village! ❤️🍦

Today we’re celebrating one of our favorite things… ice cream and the smiles it brings! From friendly conversations in our Ice Cream Parlor to special socials throughout the year, some of our sweetest memories are made one scoop at a time.

Whether it’s a simple cone, a sundae piled high with toppings, or sharing a favorite flavor with a friend, ice cream has a special way of bringing people together and reminding us that joy can be found in life’s little moments.

Did you know? 🍨 We host a monthly Ice Cream Social at Baptist Village for our JOJ Healthcare Center residents, families, staff and guests! It’s a wonderful time to enjoy delicious ice cream, great conversation, and make sweet memories together. We’d love for you to join us at an upcoming social!
