This week, we’re proud to recognize the incredible culinary and food service teams across CareOne who bring so much more than delicious meals to the table each day.

From preparing resident favorites and accommodating individual needs to making every dining experience feel special, our culinary teams play an important role in the care, comfort, and community our residents experience.

Lucy’s passion for dementia care is rooted in seeing the person beyond the diagnosis and understanding that behavior is often a form of communication. Through her work with our residents, families, nurses, and team members, Lucy helps ensure that every individual is understood, supported, and empowered to maintain as much independence as possible.

Her dedication to advocacy, education, and truly person-centered care embodies the heart of our Harmony Village philosophy.

On September 17, CareOne at Wayne proudly hosted our 3rd Annual Senior Prom, one of the highlights of our National Assisted Living Week celebration, “Shining Through the Years.” 💃🕺

The evening began with an elegant dining experience prepared by our incredible culinary team, followed by special awards and recognition. This year, we were excited to introduce our new “Star of the Night” Awards, honoring family members who go above and beyond—not only for their loved ones, but for our entire CareOne at Wayne community. 🌟

Of course, the evening wouldn’t have been complete without our most anticipated moment: the crowning of our 2026 Prom King and Queen! 👑

Our Senior Prom continues to be such a special tradition because of the teamwork, enthusiasm, and participation of our residents, families, and team members. Thank you to everyone who helped make our third annual celebration another incredible success. We’re already looking forward to next year! 💙

Giving Back to Our Community!

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this possible and proud to support an organization that provides care, comfort, and compassion to animals in our local community.

From carnivals and Grandparents Day brunches to themed celebrations, ice cream trucks, music, games, and so much more, our communities were filled with laughter, connection, and unforgettable moments all week long.
