Halloween is a time for fun, memories, and enjoying your favorite treats, not stressing over what or how much you eat.
Restricting foods, labeling them as “good” or “bad,” and feeling the need to compensate for eating can create unnecessary stress around food. I always tell clients why are we giving this little (say candy) so much power!?
This Halloween, remember:
🧡 You don’t have to earn your candy.
🧡 One day of eating doesn’t define or impact your health.
🧡 All foods can fit into a balanced eating pattern.
🧡 Nourishment and enjoyment can coexist!
A healthy relationship with food is about more than what’s on your plate. Give yourself permission to enjoy the holiday without guilt and please eat your meals between any fun Halloween events this week!
