🎄 A Holiday Season Update from Broomstick Blessings, LLC 🎄

As we begin booking for the holiday season, we want to share how our residential schedule works this time of year.

As we’ve done since opening, we do not take on new ongoing residential clients during the holidays. This is one of our busiest seasons, and our schedule gets full quickly. We want to be sure we can give our current clients the dependable, thoughtful service they count on.

We do offer holiday one-time cleanings to help tidy your home and get it ready for holiday guests, including those unexpected visitors! These bookings depend on availability, so please reach out early.

Looking for a gift that keeps blessing someone throughout the year? Cleaning gift certificates are available for:

✨ A one-time cleaning
✨ Multiple cleanings
✨ A Yearly Blessed Bundle with weekly, biweekly, or monthly cleanings for an entire year

Gift certificates are paid upfront and may be redeemed beginning January 2027. Yearly Blessed Bundle schedules will also begin after the new year.

We’re so grateful for every client who chooses Broomstick Blessings. It’s a blessing to serve our community and to bless others through the work we do. With more than 30 years of residential cleaning experience, over 5,000 clients served, and more than 25,000 cleanings completed, we bring experience and care to every home. We’re licensed, insured, and bonded, and serve Wayne County and surrounding areas.

Booking is easy, and you’ll receive alerts and email notifications. We do our best to respond as quickly as possible—sometimes that may be at the end of a busy workday.

A quick heads-up from Broomstick Blessings LLC: if you received an alert saying you have a cleaning today, please know that you do not. We understand—you and I both know you didn’t have a cleaning scheduled for today!

We have notifications turned off, but apparently AI is so smart it’s still trying to send them 😄.

Some notifications can get stuck and fail to send because of poor service or data restrictions, so from time to time we have to purge our systems. That’s what we’re doing today.

🎄🦃 HOLIDAY CLEANING SEASON IS HERE! 🦃🎄

Y’all… if you think you’re going to want Broomstick Blessings before Thanksgiving or Christmas, now is the time to get your crap together and get on our schedule. 😂❤️ (We are getting older and crabbier).

We started booking holiday cleanings back in September, and our regular clients are already claiming their dates. This year, we are not overloading ourselves or squeezing in a pile of last-minute requests. When the schedule is full, it’s full.

✨ A few reminders:

* Holiday availability is VERY limited
* Regular clients are already booking
* If you NEED cleaning gift certificates to use, grab them early!!!
* We will not be adding extra last-minute holiday cleanings

If you know company is coming, the family is gathering, or you want to enjoy the holidays without worrying about cleaning the house—message us now and get on the list.

Because nobody wants to be panic-cleaning baseboards while the turkey is thawing. 😂🧹🎄

Congratulations, parents—you made it! 😂 And to all my stay-at-home moms and dads, I just KNOW y’all are laid up on the couch in your fuzzy slippers, eating bonbons, sipping a Mocha Chata Latte and watching the morning shows in complete peace and quiet. 😏☕️

But while you’ve got that calendar out planning football games, pageants, homecoming, fall festivals, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and everything else life is about to throw at us… let me give you two more dates to think about:

How Often Do You Clean Your Jet Tub? We clean this one EVERY MONTH! It's life, that's why we are here. 🫶🏻

If your whirlpool or jetted tub hasn’t been cleaned lately, you might be soaking in more than warm water. Those jets can hide soap scum, body oils, dead skin cells, mold, mildew, and bacteria that build up inside the plumbing lines over time.

Jet Tub Maintenance Facts:

✅ After Every Use

* Rinse the tub.
* Wipe away soap residue and standing water.
* Leave the lid or bathroom door open to help moisture evaporate.

✅ Monthly (for occasional use)

* Run a cleaning cycle through the jets.

✅ Every 1–2 Weeks (for frequent use)

* Deep clean the jet system.

✅ Every 3–6 Months

* Inspect jets for buildup and mineral deposits.

Signs Your Jet Tub Needs Cleaning

🔹 Black flakes coming from the jets
🔹 Musty or mildew odors
🔹 Cloudy water during operation
🔹 Visible residue around jet openings
🔹 Reduced jet pressure

Simple Jet Tub Cleaning Method

1. Fill tub with hot water 2–3 inches above the jets.
2. Add:
* 1/2 cup dish soap OR a jet tub cleaner.
* 1–2 cups white vinegar.
3. Run jets for 15–20 minutes.
4. Drain tub.
5. Refill with clean water.
6. Run jets another 10 minutes to rinse.
7. Drain and wipe dry.

Cleaning Lady Tip 💡

Many homeowners clean the visible tub surface regularly but never clean the pipes behind the jets. We’ve seen tubs that looked spotless on the outside release years of buildup once the jets were turned on!

A beautiful tub isn’t always a clean tub. Sometimes the dirtiest part is the part you can’t see.
