The interment for Mr. Bernard Jackson, Jr. will occur Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 12:00 noon at New Hope Unity Cemetery in Citronelle, AL, with Bro. Vernon Roberts officiating.

Mr. Jackson, 69, of Bronx, NY, passed away June 8, 2026 in New York. He was a former postal worker and city transit employee.

Mr. Jackson’s viewing period occurred Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, culminating into the funeral service at 4:00 PM at McCall’s Bronxwood Funeral Home in Bronx, NY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Parker Davis will be held Saturday, July 3, 2026 at 12:00 noon at Turner Funeral Home. Corey Parker and Tyhee Singleton will serve as eulogists. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens.

Mrs. Parker-Davis, 77, a Victorville CA resident formerly of Waynesboro, passed away May 15, 2026 at her home. She was a former convalescent home behavioral therapist.

Funeral services for Mr. Leon Hill, Sr. will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Turner Funeral Home, with Rev. Donald Gandy as the eulogist. Interment will follow at Sweet Pilgrim Cemetery in Buckatunna.

Mr. Hill, 64, of Buckatunna, transitioned June 1, 2026 at his residence. He was a former employee of Howard Industries.

There will be a viewing period Friday, June 19, 2026 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.

The viewing period for Mrs. Sadie Ratliff will occur Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home. Keeping in accordance with the wishes of her family, there will not be a funeral service.

Mrs. Ratliff, 74, a Marion, MS resident formerly of Waynesboro, passed away June 5, 2026 at Marion Health & Rehabilitation in Marion. She was a retiree from the health care industry as a medical billing consultant.

Funeral services for Mr. Roger Lawrence will occur Saturday, June 13th, at 1:00 PM at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in the Bexley community (Lucedale) with Rev. Stan Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, also in Lucedale.

Mr. Lawrence, 69, of Hattiesburg, passed away May 31, 2026 at his home. He was a retired truck driver.

Mr. Lawrence’s viewing period will occur Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the church.

Mr. Bonner, 62, a Beaumont, TX resident formerly of Waynesboro, MS, passed away May 23, 2026 at his home. He was a retiree formerly employed with Hood Industries.

Mr. Bonner’s viewing period will be held Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.

Memorial services for Ms. Sherry Richardson will occur Monday, June 8th, at 1:30 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Waynesboro. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS.

Ms. Richardson, 51, of Buckatunna, departed her life May 27, 2026 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was a correctional officer with Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Ms. Richardson’s viewing period will be Monday, June 8th, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.

Ms. Long, 42, of Waynesboro, transitioned May 30, 2026 at Wayne General Hospital. She was a school teacher employed with Waynesboro Riverview School.

Mr. Hodge, 58, of Clara, passed away May 27, 2026 at Wayne General Hospital.
