Mrs. Rachel Pauline McGinnis Pryor Baygents, 90, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at ComfortCare Nursing Center in Laurel, MS. She was born in Laurel, MS on Thursday, August 1, 1935, to the late Charlie McGinnis and Alice Smith. She retired as a supervisor at Northern Electric Company and Co-Owner of Baygents Curb Market & Washeteria.

Mrs. Baygents is preceded in death by her father, Charlie McGinnis; mother, Alice Smith; first husband, James Ruble Pryor; second husband, Henry Lee Baygents; daughter, Janice Craddock; two brothers, Oscar Montgomery, Jr. and Orlon Montgomery; four sisters, Geraldine Thorton, Betty Scott, Mary Jo Williams, and Catherine Clark; two step-sons, Alton Baygents and Wallace Baygents; step-daughter, Margaret Louise Scoggins. She is survived by her son, Tommy Pryor (Donna) of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Lucille Davis of Laurel, MS; step-son, Jessie Baygents (Mary Ann) of Waynesboro, MS; three step-daughters, Hilda Cochran of Georgia, Dola Ard (Charlie), and Debbie Roberts (Jimmy); step-Daughter-In-Law, Judy Baygents, all of Waynesboro, MS; a host of step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Baygents will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 26, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Terry Williams and Rev. Darrell Lloyd officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.

Mr. Terry Bayne, 75, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, January 14, 1951, to the late William Bayne and Ethel Boyles Cooley. He retired as a pumper in the Oil Field.

Mr. Bayne is preceded in death by his father, William Bayne; mother, Ethel Boyles Cooley; brother, Timmy Bayne. He is survived by his son, Terry Michael Bayne of Waynesboro, MS; two daughters, Crystal Davis (Bennie) of Waynesboro, MS and Amanda Fescina (David) of Wilmer, AL; sister, Tammy Parker (Charles) of Brandon, MS; three grandchildren, Houston Paul Davis (Heather), Dalton Davis (Ashley), and Margo Fescina; three great grandchildren, Braden Paul Davis, Madden Blaze Davis, and Harper Davis.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Bayne will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Boyles Chapel Church, 36 Boyles Chapel Road, Waynesboro, MS 39367 with Rev. Tom Walker officiating.

Mrs. Carrie E. "Recie" Walley, 79, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, June 21, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Thursday, March 6, 1947, to the late Dave and Idell Palmer. She was a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Walley is preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Idell Palmer; son, Joe Walley; three brothers, Marlon Palmer, Junior Palmer, and James Walley; four sisters, Darlene Hutto, Peggy Rogers, Maxine Stevison, and Edith Humphrey. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Homer J. Walley; son, Timothy Walley (Lisa), all of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Minnie Nicholson (Jerry) of Pearl, MS; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Walley will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church, 2426 Camp Eight Road, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Ronald Nowell, Malcolm Nowell, and Chris Palmer officiating. Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. Pallbearers are Bubba Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Chris Palmer, Jason Rogers, Ross Kinsey, and Ryan Kinsey. Honorary Pallbearers are Jayden James, Brant James, Dylan Palmer, Caiden Smith, Coen Smith, Brody Hunnel, Noah Thompson, Pee-Wee Creel, and Gabe Thompson.

Mr. Jerry Grant Revette, 79, of State Line, MS passed from this life Thursday, June 18, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Wayne County, MS on Sunday, December 1, 1946, to the late Alfred Grant Revette and Vongia Lee Revette. He was a member of State Line United Methodist Church. He retired as Co-Owner/Operator of the Western Auto/True Value in State Line, MS. Mr. Revette enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing.

Mr. Revette is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Grant and Vongia Lee Revette; nephew, Tom McCary. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janie Bristow Revette of State Line, MS; daughter, Brooke Revette Hardman (Joe) of Sumrall, MS; brother, Larry Neil Revette (Judy) of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Deonna Revette Scarbrough of State Line, MS; two grandchildren, Hannah Jane Hardman and Trey Hardman, both of Sumrall, MS; a host of nieces and nephews.

Buddy Smith, and Joseph Hardman officiating. Interment will be in Revette Cemetery in State Line, MS.
