Iโ€™m heading into the last few days of this tri, and I finally have some break availability to share. ๐Ÿ

I made it through THE most stressful practical, the OSCE practical, and Iโ€™m finishing Clinical Methods with an overall B this tri. I also passed my Activator II practical, and today I made a perfect score on my Nutrition quiz, which is a huge accomplishment for me.

Next week I only have 3 more days of finals, and then this tri is officially over. Right now, itโ€™s looking like Iโ€™m passing all of my classes with decent grades, and I am more than ready to close this one out.

I also want to say thank you to all of my loyal clients and everyone who has continued to stick with me and support me through my limited availability while Iโ€™ve been in school working toward this dream of becoming a DR.

I know my schedule has not always been easy to work around, and I truly appreciate the people who have continued to book with me, support my business, and cheer me on while I do this.

I am officially HALFWAY THERE in chiropractic school, which feels huge. And even over break, Iโ€™ll still be working because Iโ€™ll be preparing for Part I Boards too.

But Iโ€™ll also have more time back in the office, and the availability posted here is what I have open over break for:

โœจ Integrated Massage
โœจ CranioSacral Therapy
โœจ Divine Movement Specials

Online booking: www.thedivinepineapple.com

Thank you for continuing to support me, my business, and this dream while I work my way toward becoming a doctor. Halfway there. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ

I did a thing. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

I took a completely spontaneous road trip to Tennessee to pick up this beautiful Zenith chiropractic table!

The trip was an adventure from the very beginning. It was storming pretty heavily when I left Missouri, and I made my way through Illinois and Kentucky before traveling a little past Nashville. Somewhere between the storms, the long drive, and narrowly avoiding two accidents, it definitely became one of those trips I will not forget anytime soon.

The trip ended up being about much more than simply picking up a table. I met a really cool chiropractor named Steve at Happy Back, and we had a great professional conversation while completing the purchase. He showed me around his office and shared some of his setup with me, which I always enjoy seeing because every chiropractor has their own style, techniques, and way of running their practice.

He also took some X-rays of me, and we spent quite a bit of time looking at them and talking about what we were seeing. There appears to be a transitional vertebra in my lumbar spine, possibly an L6-type presentation with lumbosacralization. It looked pretty wicked on the images, and I cannot wait for him to email them to me so I can take a closer look and share them.

We also got hands-on, and he performed some adjustments on me. I am always interested in experiencing how other professionals work, hearing their opinions, and getting a feel for their adjusting styles. I really value making professional connections like this, especially when I can learn something new and exchange ideas with someone who has been in practice.

The drive home brought even more rain and another round of storms. At one point, close to the Missouri border, I received a warning telling me to seek shelter. Not exactly what you want to see when you are still on the road hauling home a chiropractic table! Thankfully, I made it back safely.

It was a very long, stormy, slightly chaotic, but ultimately wonderful trip. I made a new professional connection, learned something interesting about my own spine, got adjusted, and came home with a beautiful Zenith table.

Overall, I would say it was a pretty successful spontaneous adventure. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿ

I call this a win. Not too hot this morning and the breeze picked up at the end.
It felt easier to consciously correct my imbalances in the beginning, felt the correct muscle activation and gait, all in all I'll give it a solid 7.5 out of 10.

What a wonderful work weekend this has been. It was one of those weekends that truly validated why I do bodywork. I felt so useful to the clients who genuinely needed the work, and there is something incredibly fulfilling about knowing I was able to help them feel better.

My mentee and I also plowed through so much material, and now we are gearing up for her clinicals coming up soon, so stay posted for that!

The bus project is still chugging along, slow and steady, and I cannot wait to share more updates as it continues coming together.

I also started jogging again this weekend and can still run a full mile without stopping! That felt pretty damn good.

And apparently, the wildlife around the office wanted to be part of the weekend too. I caught this woodpecker hanging out nearby, and it reminded me how much I truly love the location of The Divine Pineapple. I may not be right along a busy main strip with constant traffic passing by, but I am surrounded by so much peace and nature. I have seen everything from deer and foxes to what may have even been a bobcat one time. I am always amazed by the wildlife that shows up around here, and I would not trade this peaceful little location for anything.

Feeling productive, useful, grateful, and excited about everything that is moving forward right now.
