To our law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS, dispatchers, corrections officers, and all who serve: THANK YOU for all you do! ❤️💙

Here at Pulaski County FRSST, we want to remind you that behind every badge, uniform, and headset is a human being. It’s okay to not be okay, and you never have to carry the weight alone. 💚

Check on your people. Take care of each other. Remember, those who care for others deserve care, too.

🚨 PULASKI COUNTY 911 NEEDS YOUR HELP! 🚨

We're putting our competitive spirit to work for a GREAT cause! Pulaski County 911 is going head-to-head with other 911 Centers in The Golden Headset Challenge, competing to see which center can collect the MOST nonperishable food items!

🏆 Of course, we WANT those bragging rights, but the REAL WINNERS will be the families right here in our community! ❤️

Every item collected by Pulaski County 911 will be donated to our local Good Samaritan, helping neighbors and families who could use a little extra support this holiday season.

🥫 HOW TO DONATE:

During business hours: Drop off your nonperishable food donations in our lobby.

After hours: An outside drop-off location will be available on the EAST side of our building.

We may be competing against other 911 Centers for the Golden Headset, but this challenge is about so much more than winning a trophy!

Our thoughts are with our brothers and sisters during this tragedy.

With deep sorrow and regret, we announce the passing of one of our own. Firefighter Matt Honse passed away on 10/14/2026 in a tragic accident along side his wife.
We ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as well as his brothers and sisters in the fire service.

Today our Miss Honey had the honor of being invited to attend a First Responder Health and Wellness Conference up at the Lake. It was great to see some familiar faces and made lots of new friends! Thank you Missouri Patriot Pals for inviting us. And always love seeing Miss Dee Dee and Miss Sherry with Missouri Fire Fighters Critical Illness Pool

Many of us recall exactly what we were doing 25 years ago. Our hearts are not only with those who lost their lives, their loved ones, and those who survived, but our first responder brothers and sisters who all were impacted one way or another. We will never forget.

Today, Pulaski County FRSST joins first responders across our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honoring the extraordinary courage shown in the moments and days that followed.

Among the 2,977 victims killed that day were 411 emergency responders who answered the call:

343 FDNY firefighters
23 New York City Police Department officers
37 Port Authority Police Department officers
8 EMTs and paramedics

They ran toward danger while thousands were trying to escape. We also honor the emergency telecommunicators, emergency managers, military personnel, healthcare professionals, rescue workers, and countless others who served throughout the response, recovery, and aftermath.

As a team representing first responders from across multiple disciplines, Pulaski County FRSST recognizes that the impact of September 11 did not end when the fires were extinguished. Survivors, families, responders, and their communities have carried the physical and emotional effects of that day for more than two decades, and many responders have since lost their lives to World Trade Center-related illnesses.

Today, we remember those we lost, honor those who answered the call, and stand beside those who continue to carry the weight of that day.

As we celebrate our nation’s independence, Pulaski County FRSST would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

While many of us are enjoying cookouts, fireworks, and time with family and friends, thousands of emergency service personnel are spending the holiday doing what they always do—answering the call.

To our dispatchers, law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS professionals, correctional officers, emergency department staff, and all those working behind the scenes: thank you. Your willingness to serve, even on holidays, allows our communities to celebrate safely. Your sacrifices, and those made by your families, do not go unnoticed.

If you’re celebrating today, please do so responsibly. Stay hydrated, never drive impaired, keep fireworks a safe distance from people and structures, and remember that loud noises can be difficult for veterans, first responders, children, and pets.

From all of us at Pulaski County FRSST, thank you to those standing the watch. We appreciate your dedication, your service, and your commitment to keeping our communities safe.
