Not all pregnancies are straightforward. And not all chiropractic adjustments look the same. 🤎

This mama’s third pregnancy came with some unexpected challenges, including severe hyperemesis, blood clots, and significant hip pain that made everyday movement difficult.

But here’s what we want women to know.

Chiropractic care isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Working alongside her delivery team and their medical guidance, we adapted her care throughout pregnancy. That meant modifying techniques, using gentle bodywork and stretching, and always prioritizing the precautions her medical situation required.

Following a rapid delivery, she experienced significant hip weakness that required a wheelchair for three days.

Her postpartum recovery has involved continued chiropractic care, glute strengthening, and a recommendation for pelvic floor therapy.

And one of the sweetest updates? Her baby girl made it home from the NICU. 🤎

Sometimes the most important part of care isn’t what we do. It’s knowing how to adapt it to the woman in front of us.

Did you know your chances of having another breech baby increase if your first baby was breech?

That’s because your body remembers patterns—especially when it comes to pelvic balance, uterine tone, and space for baby to move and settle head-down.

If your pelvis or surrounding soft tissues are tight, misaligned, or imbalanced, baby may not have enough room to get into the optimal position for birth.

That’s where prenatal chiropractic care comes in.

✨ We gently work to:
— Balance the pelvis
— Release soft tissue tension
— Improve sacral mobility
— Encourage ideal baby positioning

Especially with repeat pregnancies, giving your body the best chance to support a head-down baby is key.

If your first was breech, this is your sign to start care early and consistently. Your body is wise—and so is proactive support.

🤍 Our care is gentle, safe, and specifically tailored for pregnancy. We’ve got you.

Getting off the couch: formerly easy, now feels like reverse engineering a yoga pose.

When you’re pregnant, even the simple stuff—like standing up from a cozy chair—requires some strategy. Especially if that cushion is soft and deep enough to swallow your entire pelvis.

Here’s how to make it smoother (and safer):
Place a small pillow or lumbar support behind your low back while seated. It helps maintain spinal alignment and reduces strain.

Engage your core gently before moving. Yes, you still have a core—let it help you!

Use the armrests or a stable surface for support (no shame, all strategy).

Plant both feet flat, shoulder-width apart, and push evenly through both legs. Don’t twist or favor one side.

Move slowly and intentionally—your body is working double duty.

These little mechanics help protect your pelvis, spine, and energy for the rest of your day.

You’re not being dramatic. The couch is deeper. Your balance has changed. And yes, we’re proud of you every time you stand up like a queen.

It's :

A strategic descent with core engagement.
A daily game of “Will My Pelvis Cooperate?”
A balance challenge with a shifting center of gravity.
A joint-loosening, back-aching, breath-shortening experience.
A full-body recalibration every single day.

So no, it’s not a walk in the park.

It’s a slow-motion obstacle course that deserves some serious respect.

And if stairs are now a mini mountain—you’re not alone.

Up to 20% of people have a sciatic nerve that runs through the piriformis.

So during pregnancy… how you stretch matters.

If you’re doing figure four and just pushing your knee down, you’re mostly opening the hip.

But if you gently pull your leg toward your chest, you actually target the piriformis where that nerve sits.

Same stretch. Different direction. Way more specific.

One of the biggest mistakes women make with pregnancy sciatica is sitting still.

When that sharp zing shoots down your butt or leg, the instinct is usually to stop moving and rest.

But nerves don’t love stillness.

They love circulation and movement.

During pregnancy, sciatica usually isn’t baby sitting directly on the nerve. More often it’s a mechanical issue in the pelvis. When the sacroiliac joints stop moving evenly, surrounding muscles tighten to protect the area. That tension can irritate the sciatic nerve.

When you sit for long periods, those muscles stay guarded and compressed.

Movement helps reset the system.

Simple walking can:
• improve circulation to the nerve
• reduce muscle guarding
• encourage pelvic motion
• decrease nerve irritation

That doesn’t mean you push through sharp pain or go on a five mile walk.

But gentle, frequent movement is usually better than staying parked on the couch.

Walking, pelvic mobility, and the right stability support can calm symptoms surprisingly fast.

The key is restoring balanced movement in the pelvis, not just stretching the sore spot.
