Over the next few days, we will be sharing details of the Mini Conference taking place in Weatherford, Texas on Sunday, February 27th from 2-6pm.

"The Secrets of an ADHD Brain" a 45-minute session
by Malaina Hickey, Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSSW, LCSW

Malaina Hickey is a Licensed Counselor Specializing in many areas including Family Conflict, as well as Neurofeedback. Join us as Malaina walks us through the complexities of the ADHD brain, and gives us insight in practical ways to TRAIN THE BRAIN to FOCUS!

Never heard of Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback is used to treat many conditions such as: ADHD and ADD, stress disorders, anxiety, panic attacks, autism, Aspergers, depression, headaches, migraines, concussions and sleep issues. It also may be used to aid memory concerns; to help individuals struggling with epilepsy, PTSD, Tourette Syndrome, obsessive/compulsive behaviors and aggression; as well as to repair brain damage from stroke or a traumatic brain injury.

by Dr. Caren Williams PhD, MEd, LPC, Psychotherapist
Dr. Williams has a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University, an MEd in School Counseling from Tarleton State University, and a BS in Human Science also from Tarleton State University.
With an extensive background as a teacher and counselor, Dr. Williams is well known for being able to provide practical tools and practices for children struggling to focus in the classroom and beyond.
Dr. Williams is a formidable advocate for children with ADHD, equipping them with practical tools to HARNESS their SUPERPOWERS, setting them up for success short and long-term.
Join us as Dr. Williams explains some of the "symptoms" associated with ADHD, and provides practical guides and practices that can be implemented daily to minimize frustrations for students, peers, and families.
