Dear Friends, Im not normally on Facebook but just wanted to hop on here to let you know I am safe in London. Vinit is at home at Samasati in Asheville and he is safe; fortunately we live on higher ground. We have some trees down and the yome is ruined. But the devastation in Asheville from Hurricane Helena is heart wrenching. Praying for those that live near a river or lake. Right now I am praying that our friends and community have access to food and water, and that the power and services come back on again soon. It's gonna be awhile before life looks anything like normal. I can't imagine how our beloved mountain home is going to look when I arrive there. Im postponing my flight until I know that Asheville airport is open again..

Kelsey Moseley is a Teaching Artist and Visual Arts Curator with LEAF Global Arts. Kelsey brings a holistic, hands-on approach to experiencing and teaching art, using it as a bridge connecting people and creative expression.
