A disturbing new report from Forbes highlights a treatment-resistant virus called POH-VAU that has jumped from farmed seafood to humans. This isnât just a minor infectionâit is causing severe ocular inflammation, secondary glaucoma, and in some cases, permanent blindness.
The virus (CMNV) is already established in the global seafood supply chain, appearing in samples from the Americas to Antarctica.
