We believe in the Hospice philosophy of care: all persons have the

right to die with dignity, to have an enhanced quality of life for the remainder of their days, and to be as comfortable and pain free as possible. Webster Comfort Care is a comprehensive and compassionate 2-bed home for the dying in the Webster community. It is a true home-like atmosphere, not a health care facility or a hospital. We ascribe to the hospice philosophy of care that states that all persons have the right to die with dignity, to have enhanced quality of life, and to be as comfortable as possible. Our primary goal is to provide comfort care, symptom control and pain management for our residents, as well as to be a source of respite care for the families.

It's Time for a Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Charlotte!

After 30+ years in hospice care and a teaching career at RCSD/BOCES, a move back to Webster led Charlotte to our doors 3 1/2 years ago.

Charlotte shares, "One of the things that has stayed with me most is the remarkable cooperation, flexibility, and kindness shown by the staff, volunteers, and families. Being part of this community has introduced me to so many wonderful people and made my volunteer experience incredibly meaningful."

The countdown is on!

We're looking forward to the United Church of Christ, Congregational Summer Caring Community Concert Series on July 8th featuring Allegro, with proceeds benefiting Webster Comfort Care Home.

This special evening is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy live music while supporting compassionate end-of-life care in our community. We are grateful to the organizers, performers, and everyone planning to attend for supporting this event.

Yoga in the Yard – Session 2 is Coming Up!

Our first Yoga in the Yard session was a wonderful way to start the summer, and we're excited to welcome everyone back for our second session!

Join us on Sunday, July 12, from 9:00–10:00 AM for a relaxing morning of movement, fresh air, and community. This month's class will be led by our very own nurse, Angela Brown.

Whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years, you're invited to come as you are.

Denise Baller from Dancing with Denise and the amazing Soul Sisters are at it again! They created a beautiful bouquet of origami flowers for us to display in the Home.

On June 4th, Webster Comfort Care Home proudly participated in the Senior Resource Fair at the Webster Public Library. The event brought together 47 organizations from across the Rochester area, all dedicated to providing information, resources, and services that support adults age 55 and older.

Attendees had the opportunity to connect with a wide variety of organizations, including senior living communities, recreation programs, and service providers. Throughout the event, our Volunteer Coordinator, Lucy Kaempffe, shared information about our mission, services, and volunteer opportunities with attendees.

We are grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness about the compassionate end-of-life care and support we provide to residents and their families. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, and to the organizers for hosting such a valuable community event!
