With Spring just around the corner, we are starting to plan for Spring bees. We have ordered 100 Paradise VSH Queens from Hawaii for delivery in mid March to coincide with the first delivery of brood frames and bees. It's going to be a busy season so think about reserving your nucs early with a small down payment or an early prepay due by February 15th.

We've had some very good harvests this past 2 weeks, harvesting only the supers from 4-5 hives in each yard. Totals ranged from 52 # on four 8 frame medium supers to 102 # on four med 10 frame supers and 1 deep super. We've put the supers back on for now in anticipation of a late summer/ fall flow. Pray for rain to bring in the flowers.

We will be getting 100 fresh Kona Paradise VSH Hybrid Queens on Friday. There will be about 25 up for sale at $35 each. These queens are prolific layers. We have had to pull splits every 2 weeks from the February batch to keep up with them.
