Two modalities and a list of add ons that I offer to meet you in your changing needs. Our bodies go through a lot of changes as the years pass and massage can meet you where you're at and I believe that if an add-on can help us move you forward in your healing journey it should simply be available.

I have some continuing education I'll be finishing soon and will be offering therapies to help with grounding and nervous system regulation in response to this crazy life and healing/trauma therapies that leave us feeling dysregulated, raw and dissociated.

As always, likes and shares appreciated. And if you've had a massage from me I'd love it if you would consider leaving me a review.

Trigger Finger Relief | Targeted Therapeutic Work

Trigger finger doesn’t start in the finger alone.

It’s often influenced by tension, inflammation, and restricted glide within the muscles and connective tissue of the forearm and hand. When those tissues can’t move freely, the tendon may catch or lock—leading to pain, stiffness, or clicking with movement.

Using specific, therapeutic gua sha techniques, I work along the soft tissue of the forearm, hand, and surrounding structures to
• Improve tissue mobility and circulation
• Reduce adhesions and localized inflammation
• Decrease strain on the affected tendon
• Support smoother, more comfortable movement

This work is precise and intentional—not aggressive—and is always adapted to your tolerance and presentation. Gua sha tools allow for focused treatment in areas that can be difficult to access with hands alone, making them especially effective for conditions involving repetitive strain.

This approach may be helpful if you
• Experience finger locking, catching, or stiffness
• Use your hands repetitively for work or hobbies
• Have ongoing hand or forearm tension
• Are seeking conservative, supportive care alongside other treatments

30 minute sessions for specific work on this area $45 (Moderate Therapy) or we can make work on this area part of your 60 minute session.

As always, techniques are used only when appropriate and with your consent, as part of a broader therapeutic plan—not as a one-size-fits-all solution.

Pain Is Rarely the Whole Story

When you come in with discomfort in one specific area, yes — that area deserves attention. But more often than not, the place that hurts is the symptom, not the source.

The body works as a connected system. Restrictions, overuse, or imbalance in one region can place added strain on another. Over time, that compensation is what shows up as pain, tension, or limited movement.

Effective therapeutic work often means
• Assessing how surrounding tissues are functioning
• Looking at movement patterns and postural habits
• Addressing contributing areas above and below the site of discomfort
• Restoring balance so the body no longer has to compensate

This may look like working the forearm to help hand pain, the hips to help low back discomfort, or the upper back to relieve neck tension. By “backtracking” the system, we’re able to reduce stress on the area that’s asking for help.

This approach supports more than temporary relief — it encourages lasting change by helping the body move and function more efficiently as a whole.

If you’re dealing with localized pain that keeps returning, a broader, more intentional approach may be what your body needs.

Moderate Therapy Massage

Moderate therapy sits at the intersection of clinical work and nervous system regulation. It uses controlled, therapeutic pressure to address muscle tension, postural strain, and restricted movement—without the intensity of deep tissue techniques.

This approach supports
• Improved circulation
• Reduced muscle guarding and stress-related tension
• Improved range of motion and functional comfort
• More down-regulation of the nervous system compared to Deep Therapy

When appropriate and with client consent, moderate therapy may also include complimentary therapeutic add-ons such as cupping, gua sha, or targeted heated massage gun work. These tools are used selectively—only when they support the treatment goal and are clinically appropriate for the individual.

Moderate therapy is often ideal for individuals managing ongoing tension, work-related strain, activity recovery, or those who benefit from consistent therapeutic care without aggressive pressure.

Each session is guided by how your body presents that day, allowing treatment to be intentional, adaptable, and responsive rather than forceful.

If you’re looking for therapy that supports your body’s ability to heal, regulate, and move more comfortably, moderate therapy may be the right fit.
