A teacher once told me she was getting bladder infections because she couldn't leave her classroom long enough to use the bathroom.
There was no sub, and there was a student in her room who might run out of the building if she stepped away.

Teachers don't need another poster about self-care.
They need to walk into their classroom with a plan for the hardest moments of the day, and to know that plan works.
