🎩✨ HAT PARTY FUN! ✨🎩

Yesterday was a day full of creativity, laughter, and LOTS of personality at our Hat Party! 🥳💖 Our residents had the BEST time picking out their favorite patches and transfers and using them to customize their very own ballcaps and bucket hats! 🧢👒

Each resident got to create a hat that was uniquely theirs, and we absolutely LOVE how every single one turned out! They were all so creative and truly matched each resident’s personality perfectly. 💕 Seeing everyone proudly showing off their one-of-a-kind hats was definitely the highlight of our day!

A HUGE and very special THANK YOU to Michelle for putting together the most amazing setup and for all of her hard work in making this activity so special for our residents! 🥰 We are so grateful for the time, creativity, and love she put into making our Hat Party such a huge hit!

🔥🍫 Yesterday was National S’mores Day! 🍫🔥

We celebrated in the most delicious way possible… with OVEN S’MORES! 🤎

Our residents had so much fun assembling each s’more, carefully placing them on cookie sheets, and getting them ready for the oven. After about 8 minutes, they came out warm, gooey, golden, and absolutely DELICIOUS! 🍪🔥

And of course, we couldn’t keep all that goodness to ourselves! We made enough s’mores for the entire building, and let us just say… they were a HIT! 🙌❤️

There’s nothing quite like a warm, gooey s’more to bring a little sweetness to the day!

Talk about DELICIOUS!! 🍫

A heartfelt thank you to Ashley and the amazing team at Interim Healthcare for treating our residents to such a special afternoon! 💙🍋❤️

Ashley went above and beyond by setting up the most beautiful patriotic lemonade stand, complete with refreshing red, white, and blue lemonade, a gorgeous tray of fresh fruit, and an absolutely delicious assortment of chocolate chip cookies and brownies. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it truly brightened our residents' day!

We are incredibly grateful for the kindness, generosity, and compassion that Ashley and the entire Interim Healthcare team continue to show our community. It is a blessing to work alongside people who care so deeply about bringing smiles and creating meaningful moments for our residents.

Our residents tried something brand new this week, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out! 💙✨

Each resident selected a unique napkin design to create a one-of-a-kind coastal seashell. They carefully brushed a layer of Mod Podge onto their shell, gently smoothed their chosen design into place, and then sealed their masterpiece with UV resin. After curing each shell under a UV light, they added the perfect finishing touches with gold or silver acrylic paint markers, making every piece shine beautifully.

We are so proud of everyone's creativity, patience, and attention to detail. No two shells were alike, and each one reflected the personality and artistic style of its creator. The finished shells are absolutely stunning!

These beautiful keepsakes can be displayed as room décor, given as a thoughtful handmade gift, or even used as elegant jewelry holders. It's amazing what can be created with a little imagination and a willingness to try something new!

We love introducing new crafts that encourage creativity, conversation, and a sense of accomplishment—and this one was definitely a favorite!❤️🐚✨

Big thanks to Cathy from RiverCross Hospice for bringing the sunshine to Homestead of Wellington with this adorable craft! Our residents had the best time creating their own sun visor hats, each one decorated with its own personality and flair. They turned out too cute, and our residents loved customizing them and showing off their summer style. It’s always a joy when our community comes together for something creative — thank you, Cathy, for making our day extra bright. 🌞💛

Our residents had the best time creating popsicle‑stick door hangers for a fun burst of summer décor! Every piece turned out completely unique, full of color, personality, and creativity. We loved spending the afternoon crafting together and adding a little sunshine to our doors!

Last Friday, July 10th, we had an amazing time rolling through the 2026 Kansas Wheat Festival Parade!
Our residents were all smiles riding in 10 beautifully flower‑decorated golf carts, and we also had our wonderful resident, Ms. Sandy, as our leader— a perfect match for the theme “Your Future Grows Here.” We want to extend an extra‑big thank‑you to Ben at Wellington Golf Club for lending us the carts. Your generosity made this night possible, and our residents felt every bit of that kindness. To our staff volunteers who came in to help us make this possible — thank you for bringing the fun, the teamwork, and the heart. What a night for our community! 🌼🌾💛

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to Interim Healthcare of Wellington for their incredible generosity and kindness! A special thank you goes to Chad Stearns for taking the time out of his day to not only provide delicious hamburgers and hot dogs for our residents, but also for firing up the grill and cooking them with such care.

Your generosity, time, and compassion helped create a wonderful afternoon filled with great food, smiles, and fellowship. It means so much to our residents and staff to have community partners like you who go above and beyond to make a difference.

What a beautiful morning to gather outside! Our residents enjoyed some sunshine, fresh air, and the peaceful scenery of our courtyard during today's social. 🌼🌳

To make the day even sweeter, we celebrated National Blueberry Day with delicious blueberry smoothies that were a big hit! 🫐🥤 Nothing beats great company, beautiful weather, and a refreshing treat.

Moments like these remind us how special it is to come together, enjoy the outdoors, and make wonderful memories with friends. 💙
