Exciting new neighbors have arrived at Wellington Bay! 🐝
The hive is set up nicely in a mulched garden bed, surrounded by lush Florida greenery and palm trees. You can already see the colony covering the frames, a great sign for a fresh installation. Big thanks to Lisbet and the Wellington Bay team for welcoming these pollinators into the neighborhood. The surrounding gardens are going to love having them nearby!

We’re excited to share that Wellington Bay and Lisbet @ Wellington are partnering with Alvéole to welcome a thriving colony of honey bees right here in our community.

Honey bees — just one of 20,000 bee species worldwide — help pollinate over 80% of all flowering plants in North America. These hardworking little neighbors are about to play a big role in our ecosystem!

We’ll be hosting fun community events, sharing hive updates, crafting handmade candles from local beeswax, and even sampling honey produced by our bees. Stay tuned… there’s plenty more buzz to come! 🐝🌼🍯
