OSTEOPOROSIS & HORMONE THERAPY. My first case study: Me! In 2017 I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis, with a T-score of -3.3. In 2025, my T-score was -3.1. After 1 year of hormone therapy -- and no prescription medication -- my 2026 T-score is -2.8 -- a .+3 improvement!

You may know me as an aesthetics professional and/or most recently endocrinology and hormone optimization therapy provider. However, I spent many years providing in-patient geriatric/adult care.

Why am I posting this movie poster? I recently re-watched THE FATHER. With the upcoming influx of elderly patients, in my humble opinion, this movie should be part of the curriculum for all health care disciplines (MD, NP, PA, RN, CNA, etc.).

To honor my sweet Broadway Joe, I’ve decided to foster rescue dogs until they can find their forever home. Meet Barney! He’s super chill. I will incorporate him into my daily activities (including bringing him to the spa), for his enrichment.

It’s incredibly fulfilling to be able to provide a safe, loving environment while these beautiful guys await forever their home.

Estradiol is the most potent and predominant naturally occurring estrogen. Oral supplements vs. transdermal therapy: Is one better than the other? My memorial to Broadway Joe — my best buddy, my office assistant, my number one patient greeter, my wonderful Border Collie who we lost this past March — is now on the wall. He was 14 and lived a full life.

He certainly enriched mine. He accompanied me to the spa nearly every day. Many of my patients looked forward to him greeting them with his calming energy and gentle presence. He will be missed, but never forgotten. ♥️
