We had a wonderful watercolor painting class, courtesy of Artfully Aging® LLC. The residents always enjoy this quiet, focused time while working on something they can be proud of.

Another great outing in the books this week. We already had one Men’s Club outing this month, but because the Prologue Room at Boeing is closing for the season, we had to fit another in!
With most residents attending being Boeing retirees, this outing was really a trip down memory lane! 🛩️

Today, we had a Tribute for the one and only Dolly Parton! A large amount of people came to celebrate her life, her music and her legacy. She will be missed!

Memory Care took a fun-filled trip to the St. Louis Art Museum today! We enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful paintings & artifacts they had on display. Our Memory Care Director, Iris, joined in on the fun too! So grateful for these moments together 💕

We had so much fun at our Route 66 event. Thank you to First Capitol Classic Cars for bringing out some of their cars. Wonderful entertainment was provided by Roy Ritchey and his talented grandson, “Little Elvis”. A great time was had by all!

For our Mystery Bus outing this month, we took a trip to Grants Farm! Once we got on the bus, we had a pretty good idea of where we were going, considering the horse cookies & figurines!
It was so much fun riding the tram, eating a yummy lunch, and looking at all the fun animals! 🦌
On the way home, we stopped at Ted Drewes to get a yummy treat.🍦 Living at Cedarhurst is the best! 🪩💕

We made the cutest little bee decorations for our apartments this week! I love how we all made the same project, but they each turned out so unique.

We love creating. It doesn’t always come out perfect, but we have fun while we’re at it and in the company of our friends. We worked on pillows made with thick chunky yarn and a couple of folks continued with their throw blanket. Beautiful! 🧶
