When the body is stable and at ease and the mind ceases to whirl. Prenatal Yoga, Virtual one on Hello! I'm Nadine. In 2017 I became Reiki attuned.

After practicing yoga for almost twenty years, I felt there was much more to learn. I found Jane's House of Well Being and fell in love with the atmosphere and teachings. In 2015, I began the 200 hour teacher training and have been practicing and teaching formally for almost five years. I used this knowledge to deepen my practice and work in the field of holistic healing and energy work. In the sp

ring of 2015, I became certified in the aromatouch technique. In 2018 I completed the 85 hour teacher training for prenatal yoga. I look forward to meeting you and discussing how I can help you on your own journey.

Lately, I’ve found myself navigating a profound transitional space. We often expect growth to be a linear path, but true evolution frequently requires us to sit in the quiet, sometimes uncomfortable moments of the "in-between." Over the past few weeks, I’ve experienced a shift from absolute clarity to a season of deep questioning, prompting me to re-examine my next steps and embrace a feeling of being temporarily unsettled.

Yet, there is a beautiful paradox in this space. While the surface waves feel turbulent, my underlying foundation remains entirely unshaken. I am deeply anchored by a powerful network of support—an incredible spouse, life-long friends, an invaluable mentor, and teachers who continuously expand my perspective. More than anything, my daily practices, meditations, and intuitive insights offer constant confirmation that this pause is intentional. For the first time, I am learning to trust the timing of my life completely, without demanding immediate answers or forcing a specific outcome.

I share this because leadership and growth aren't about having everything figured out perfectly; they are about maintaining complete trust in the journey while navigating the shifts. I am entering this next chapter with a clear path, absolute confidence, and an open heart, ready for whatever is meant to unfold.

Your body is listening to everything your mind doesn’t say out loud—and your fascia is keeping score.

In Ayurveda, the mind and body are never viewed as separate. When we push down stress, worry, or unexpressed emotions, they manifest as ama (toxic buildup) and stagnation in our manovaha srotas—the channels of the mind. This mental and emotional congestion doesn't just vanish; it sinks deep into the physical tissues, altering our prana (vital life force) and getting physically trapped in our fascia.

Fascia is a highly sensitive, fluid-filled communication network that wraps around every muscle and organ. When your subconscious holds onto old emotional patterns or chronic stress, the fascia tightens, hardens, and grips, leading to that unexplained restriction in your hips, tightness in your shoulders, or a constant clenching in your jaw. It is your physical body holding onto stories you aren't ready to speak.

True healing requires more than just stretching a muscle; it requires unlocking the deep restrictions where emotional memories are stored. Through targeted myofascial release, we can gently unwind these physical holding patterns, restore the flow of prana, and give your nervous system the safety it needs to finally let go.

Did you know that your fascia contains more than 250 million nerve endings, making it even more sensory-rich than your skin?
For decades, medical science viewed this connective tissue as just a passive wrapping paper designed to hold muscles and organs in place. Today, researchers recognize the myofascial system as one of the largest and most dynamic sensory organs in the human body, constantly communicating tension, posture, and position signals directly to your nervous system.

🌞 Feeling the heat? Cool down from the inside out with Ayurvedic Marma Therapy!

When the temperature rises, your body absorbs an extra thermal load. In Ayurveda, this excess Pitta (heat) can trap energy and leave you feeling depleted.

Marma points—vital energy intersections in the body—act as natural release valves. Stimulating them clears blocked energy and triggers your internal cooling regulatory systems.

Here are three primary cooling points you can activate right now for rapid relief:

Talahridaya (Heart of the Palm): Located in the exact center of your hand. Massage this point to clear physical and emotional heat.✋🏽

Adhipati (Crown of the Head): Found at the very top of the skull. Gentle circular pressure here calms the nervous system and diffuses hot energy upward and out. 💆🏽‍♀️

Kshipra (The Fast Point): Located in the webbed space between your thumb and index finger. Pressing here provides quick relief for full-body heat and inflammation. 🖐🏽

✨ Pro-Tips for Maximum Cooling:

Lubricate: Use organic coconut oil to pull heat away from the skin.🥥

Chill: Apply a cold compress directly to these zones to speed up relief. 🧊

Nourish: Pair your practice with sweet, ripe fruits and cooling herbs like fennel and coriander.🍑

Take a few minutes today to breathe, press, and reset your body temperature naturally! 🌿

☀️ Staying Cool When the Heat Waves Hit: An Ayurvedic Approach to Late-Summer Hydration ☀️

As we coast into the end of summer, the intense heat can easily leave us feeling drained, irritable, and physically depleted. In Ayurveda, this fiery late-summer season is peak Pitta time—when the fire element in nature (and within our bodies) is at its absolute highest.

If you're chugging ice water but still feeling parched, it’s because extreme cold actually shocks your system and dampens your Agni (digestive fire). True cellular hydration comes from liquids that are cooling in nature, not just temperature!

Here are 3 ways to upgrade your hydration routine to beat the heat from the inside out:

🌿 1. Infuse with Cooling Botanicals
Transform plain water by adding plants that naturally pacify internal heat. Try adding a splash of organic rose water to your glass, or infusing room-temperature water with fresh mint, coriander seeds, or boiled and cooled fennel seeds. These herbs immediately soothe an overheated body and calm a restless mind.

🥥 2. Sip Nature’s Electrolytes
Skip the sugary sports drinks and reach for fresh coconut water. In Ayurveda, coconut is deeply revered for its sweet taste and instant ability to cool down a fiery system and replenish vital fluids. Another great option is a traditional cooling Lassi—blended with fresh yogurt, water, a pinch of cumin, and mint to protect your gut.

⏰ 3. Timing is Everything
Start your morning with a large glass of room-temperature water to gently flush overnight toxins (Ama). Throughout the rest of the hot day, focus on slow, intentional sipping. Avoid chugging large glasses of liquid during meals so you don't put out your digestive fire; instead, keep your heavy hydration to at least 30 minutes before or after you eat.

Listen to your body, slow down your pace, and let's navigate the end of this summer season with balance and ease. ✨
