Dear Camp Families,

After continuing to monitor the air quality forecast and recommendations, we have made the decision to close Summer Camp again tomorrow, Thursday, due to the continued poor air quality.

While we know this is disappointing and may create challenges for families, the health and safety of our campers and staff remains our top priority. Many of our campers are more vulnerable to poor air quality, and because our program is primarily outdoors, we do not feel we can safely operate under these conditions.

As we continue to experience more days impacted by extreme weather and poor air quality, we are working with Milwaukee County and Goodwill (the adult program that we share the space with) to develop a plan that would allow us to utilize additional indoor space when outdoor conditions are unsafe. Our hope is that this will help us minimize future closures while continuing to provide a safe environment for our campers and staff.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we make these decisions based on the most current information available.

At this time, we are planning to reopen on Friday, provided air quality improves as forecasted. If conditions change, we will communicate with families as soon as possible.

Thank you again for your understanding. We hope everyone stays safe, and we look forward to seeing our campers back at camp soon.

After closely monitoring the weather and air quality forecasts, we have made the difficult decision to close Summer Camp tomorrow, Wednesday, due to the combination of extreme heat and poor air quality.

The safety of our campers and staff is always our top priority. While we can make adjustments to our schedule, camp is primarily an outdoor program, and we do not feel we can provide a safe environment under the forecasted conditions.

At this time, we have not made a decision regarding Thursday. We will continue to closely monitor the weather and air quality throughout the day tomorrow and will provide an update regarding Thursday by tomorrow afternoon.

We understand this may be an inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these decisions with the health and safety of everyone in mind.

Our first week of Summer Camp 2026 is officially in the books, and what an incredible start it has been! 🌿🌻☀️☁️

Across both Wil-O-Way locations, campers spent the week getting to know their counselors, making new friendships, building routines, learning about Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skills, and settling into camp life. Campers took part in exciting outdoor games and creative crafts to sensory activities, music, and more!

We can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!

We’re so grateful to have been selected as the 2026 Love Your Belly community event recipient! 💛

This beautiful gathering celebrated pregnancy and motherhood with over 30 local vendors, maternity portraits, thoughtful goodie bags for moms, and more. Donations from this amazing event went directly to support our Safe Babies Healthy Families program.

Thank you to Love Your Belly 2026 and Lake Country Family Fun for your generosity and for uplifting our community! 👶✨

Because of this amazing community, Love Your Belly 2026 raised and donated 💜 $588 💜 plus diapers and wipes to support Safe Babies Healthy Families and local families right here in Waukesha County.

We are so grateful to the sponsors, families, vendors, and attendees who showed up, donated, and helped make this event meaningful for new and growing families in our area 🍼

Every diaper pack, wipe donation, and dollar raised helps families get started on the right foot, and that’s something worth celebrating 💕
