You asked. We made space. 💙

After sharing Shattered & Strong, we heard from so many women in our community who wanted a chance to create, too.

So, we’re making it happen.

Join us for a hands-on creative workshop where we’ll transform broken ceramic into one-of-a-kind mosaics while making space for creativity, self-expression, connection—and a little time just for you.

No art experience needed. Just come as you are.

Sometimes life leaves us with pieces we weren’t expecting. What we create from them can become part of the story.

What a beautiful day at Washington County Pride at Riveredge Nature Center!

We were so grateful to be there alongside our community, sharing information about NAMI Washington County, connecting with so many wonderful people, and creating our Locally Rooted community tree.

Throughout the day, our tree slowly came to life as beautiful, colorful leaves were added by people of all ages. Each one carried a little piece of what belonging, connection, and community mean— and together, they created something pretty special.

We had so many meaningful conversations, new connections, familiar faces, and reminders of just how important it is to create communities where people feel seen, supported, accepted, and free to be themselves.

And the tree isn’t finished yet.

We’re bringing it home to the NAMI Washington County Welcome Center, where it will continue to grow. If you missed Pride—or didn’t get a chance to add a leaf—stop in, make one, and add your voice to our tree.

Because different leaves make a beautiful tree.
And every person adds something important to the whole.

A huge thank you to The Youth and Family Project, Inc. for creating such a welcoming space to celebrate, connect, and grow together. We’re so grateful to be part of it. 🌈❤️✨

There is something incredibly satisfying about taking broken pieces and creating something beautiful.

💙 Join us for Shattered & Strong, a special creative workshop for teens where we'll transform broken ceramic into one-of-a-kind mosaics that tell a new story.

This isn't about making perfect art. It's about making space for creativity, self-expression, connection, and the reminder that even the pieces we never planned for can become part of something meaningful.

Whether you're an experienced artist or simply curious to try something new, you'll leave with a handcrafted mosaic, a meaningful creative experience, and maybe even a fresh perspective on what healing can look like.

✨ Space is limited! To register, email [email protected].

Proudly presented through a collaboration between NAMI Washington County and the Modern Woodmen Service Project.

• Work in mental health, law enforcement, or the judicial system

Your experiences and ideas can help guide future efforts and ensure our community’s needs are being met. The survey takes only a few minutes.

Take the survey: https://forms.gle/5ZS8KNqKZjG7ZeEG6

Please respond by September 15, 2026, and share this post to help us reach others whose voices should be heard.

Questions? Email [email protected] or call 262-339-1235.

Together, we can build a stronger, more supportive community. Every voice counts! 💙💚
