💙 Success Story at Aventura at Pembrooke 💙
We are proud to celebrate the incredible progress of Richard Schriver, who came to Aventura at Pembrooke following a fall that left him experiencing weakness and deconditioning. With skilled physical and occupational therapy, Richard has worked hard to regain his strength, balance, and independence.
Since his admission, Richard has made remarkable strides. He has progressed from needing assistance with daily mobility and self-care tasks to walking 200 feet, climbing 12 steps, and completing more of his personal care independently.
His dedication and determination have been evident throughout every therapy session. Richard shared, “I have made very good progress throughout my time here. I am getting around better and it is getting easier each day.”
We are incredibly proud of Richard and the progress he continues to make each day. A special thank you to our therapy team, Jocelyn Little, PT; Alex Roseman, COTA; and Leah O’Brien, OTR/L, for their dedication and support throughout his recovery.
We’re cheering Richard on as he continues working toward his goals and looks forward to returning home to his family and everyday routine!
