Today, we honor Juneteenth ❤️🖤💚 — a day that celebrates freedom, resilience, and the importance of continuing to build a more just and inclusive world for future generations.
For parents of young children, Juneteenth is also an opportunity to begin meaningful conversations about kindness, fairness, and celebrating the differences that make each of us special. Even small moments — reading diverse stories together, asking thoughtful questions, and modeling empathy — help children grow into compassionate, confident humans.
As we celebrate freedom and reflect on history, may we continue helping children build a future rooted in understanding, belonging, and hope.
