There were moments during this labor that I truly didn’t think I could do it.

Moments I wanted to quit. Moments I questioned my body. Moments I was convinced he was never going to come out.

And then… there he was.

On 6/14 at 6:08 p.m., after just under four hours of labor, our sweet Blaize entered the world weighing 9 lbs. 10 oz. 🤍

The second he was placed on my chest, every ounce of fear and exhaustion faded into relief. He was finally here.

This birth challenged me more than I ever expected, but it also reminded me how incredible our bodies are—and how powerful it is to be surrounded by people who never stop believing in you, even when you’ve stopped believing in yourself.

Forever grateful to Dalton Wood, D.C., Stork Helpers | Doulas & Placenta Encapsulation , and Wantina Brooks-Roach | Kentucky Licensed Midwife (CPM, LCPM) for carrying me through the hardest moments. 🩵
