There’s a story behind the bell you see in the Jean Griswold Foundation logo, and it begins with Dr. Jean Griswold.

The bell has become synonymous with our Founder and the legacy of heartfelt support she left behind. Jean first used the bell to call her children home for dinner. As her boys grew older, she would happily ring it to welcome them home from college or long trips, a familiar sound reminding them that they could always come home.

Over time, the bell came to represent something bigger: Jean’s unwavering support for the people she cared about.

Today, that spirit lives on through the Jean Griswold Foundation and its commitment to supporting Care Professionals through scholarships. The bell is rung to celebrate each new class of scholars, carrying Jean’s legacy forward and reminding us of our commitment to uplift Caregivers everywhere.
...That brings us back to Jean's Friday. Each Friday, we wear jeans to honor Jean, raise awareness for the Jean Griswold Foundation, and support its mission of creating opportunities for Care Professionals. 👖🔔

Carnival Day at Holiday Columbia Pines brought plenty of smiles, laughter and fun as we enjoyed games, sweet treats and, most importantly, great company. We’re always grateful for opportunities to spend time with our senior community and make a few new memories along the way.
