Celestial Memorial Gardens Celestial Memorial Gardens is one of the few family owned and operated cemeteries in this area. We are conveniently located just off US 1, on Delree Street.

Celestial Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum is Columbia’s most accommodating cemetery. This beautiful park was founded in 1963, by the late Duke Newton. Celestial remains one of the few family owned and operated perpetual care cemeteries in the Columbia area. Celestial is situated on a 47 acre tract of land, easily accessible to our Columbia area residents. At this time, only 15 acres are developed,

leaving 32 acres for future development. We have space availability in our established gardens and mausoleums. The availability of so much property allows families to establish a burial estate for current and future generations, which helps maintain your family’s heritage. When choosing Celestial as your final resting place you’ll find many options: Private Estates, Mausoleum Entombment, Traditional Ground Burial and Cremation Niches, Bench Entombment or Ground Burial. Celestial consists of several gardens that are separated by the type of memorial in that garden. Celestial also has a beautiful veterans garden that recognizes all branches of service. Making cemetery arrangements prior to a death actually occurring comes with its benefits: ability to reason, choice selection, terms customized to fit your budget, in-house financing, with no credit checks and interest free options. Our families receive lower prices through pre-need discounts. We offer protection of your loved ones' burial needs, as well as a Family Protection Plan. This all leads to our valued families having peace of mind. Someday everyone will eventually have to face the purchasing of cemetery property, merchandise and services. It is easier, kinder and more economical to do it together, before the need occurs. Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift, Some weekends as needed

Job Summary
Celestial Memorial Gardens is seeking an experienced Family Service Manager to lead and grow our family service team in West Columbia, SC.
Are you a successful cemetery sales counselor looking for your opportunity to step into management? We are looking for a servant leader, someone who understands that our work is rooted in compassion, trust, and putting families first.

You must have a proven track record in the cemetery profession and a passion for teaching others how to lead with integrity and empathy.
If you believe that greatness is found in service and can inspire others to live that value daily, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the Family Service team
Recruit, train, and mentor Family Service Counselors
Ensure exceptional service is provided to every family
Drive sales performance while maintaining the highest ethical standards
Monitor production goals and team performance
Conduct regular coaching sessions and field training
Maintain compliance with all company policies and state regulations
Work closely with cemetery management to achieve business objectives
Build lasting relationships within the community
Lead by example through integrity, professionalism, and compassionate service

Qualifications
Leadership or management experience preferred
Excellent communication and coaching skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to motivate and develop others
High level of professionalism and integrity
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
Cemetery Sales: 3+ years (Required)
Sales Management: Preferred
Funeral or Cemetery Industry Leadership: Preferred
