Banetta is our final interviewee for our Disability Pride Month series! What Banetta loves about the Babcock Center is the activities she gets to do outside of the workshop and in the community.

Banetta enjoys her games on her ipad and PS5, she loves chatting on the phone, and has numerous TV shows she enjoys to watch in her free time. One big goal that she has to get herself a job at Walmart so that she can start earning more money for herself!

Meet Christian who loves learning more about how to be independent and giving to the community!

Christian is very thankful for the items he has - especially his closet full of shoes! He has built many meaningful relationships at the Babcock Center, the biggest one being his girlfriend.

Meet Deborah from the Babcock Center!

Deborah has many hobbies that she enjoys. She loves taking care of plants and wants to have her own garden, she likes to use beads to create jewlery, and she is proud of the pillows that she has made and been able to sell. Deborah keeps herself busy with all the crafting hobbies!

Deborah would enjoy to one day participate in a wheelchair race. When that happens we will be cheering her on!

Meet Starquana🌟 with the Babcock Center!

Starquana is full of joy and her smile is contagious!. She enjoys all the skills she learns at our Work Activity Centers and all the ways she is growing as a person. She is driven and is proud of the woman she has become.

Our William Reese Workshop had an amazing time visiting Eudora Wildlife Park this past week! 🦘🦙

From meeting and feeding exotic animals to enjoying a trailer ride through the park, it was a day full of fun and learning.

Community outings like these create opportunities for our supported individuals to explore new experiences, build confidence, and connect with the community around them. We're grateful to our workshop teams for making meaningful experiences like this possible! 💙

Get ready for one of the Babcock Center's most anticipated events of the year!💃🕺

Join us on Friday, August 28 for the Babcock Center's Annual Fashion Show, where members of the Babcock community will take the runway to celebrate confidence, creativity, and self-expression. This year's theme, You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, brings the energy and glamour of the runway to life as each participant showcases their unique style, personality, and confidence.

The Annual Fashion Show is one of the most meaningful events of the year for the individuals we support, highlighting their talents while creating an unforgettable evening of celebration, encouragement, and community.
