Whether they’re greeting us at the door after a long day, making us laugh with their antics, snuggling up when we need it most, or visiting and bringing smiles to our residents, dogs have a very special way of making everything better. 🥰🐕‍🦺🐾

We are proud to share that West Hartford Health & Rehabilitation Center has earned an Overall 5-Star Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), including a 5-Star Quality Measures Rating on Medicare Care Compare.

This achievement is especially meaningful because CMS recently strengthened the requirements for earning both the Overall 5-Star Rating and the 5-Star Quality Measures Rating, raising the bar for nursing homes across the country. Achieving and maintaining these ratings reflects the dedication, compassion, and hard work of every member of our team.

Only about 12% of skilled nursing facilities meet the rigorous criteria CMS now uses to identify its highest-performing nursing homes.

🍪❤️ Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! ❤️🍪

Today, Narisha and our incredible Dietary Team baked and packaged homemade chocolate chip cookies for every shift to enjoy. It was a simple gesture that brought so many smiles throughout the building.

We wish we could have captured every happy face because one thing is certain... everyone loves a warm chocolate chip cookie! 🍪😊

A heartfelt thank you to Narisha and our kitchen staff for making our day a little sweeter and reminding us that it's often the little things that bring the biggest smiles.
