From the garden to the art studio, there is always something growing at Hebrew Center! 🌱

Ellen G. is proudly showing off the Garden Club’s gi-normous zucchini, the result of plenty of sunshine, water, love, and a few very talented green thumbs. What a wonderful way to enjoy the fruits of everyone’s hard work!

Meanwhile, our talented Art Therapy artists are putting the finishing touches on their latest masterpieces. Offered 2–3 times each month, the program gives residents opportunities to explore different artistic mediums while encouraging creativity, self-expression, and the joy of making something truly their own.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Today, everyone enjoyed a sweet treat from Ted's Steamed Cheeseburgers Ice Cream Truck, bringing plenty of smiles, laughter, and a little extra fun to the day. There’s nothing like a cool treat and good company to make an ordinary day feel a little more special.

Yesterday was definitely a “Take a Chill Pill” kind of day! 😎

We had so much fun treating our amazing staff to ice pops and pill-shaped pens as a little reminder to slow down, cool off, and enjoy some well-deserved appreciation. Our Patient Relations and HR teams made the perfect team for this fun and thoughtful treat!

Friday mornings just got a little more delicious!

We enjoyed our very first Weekly Friday Rehab Breakfast with Chef Jorge Perez, where everyone got to choose a freshly prepared breakfast made just the way they liked it.

The breakfast was a big hit and a wonderful way to bring everyone together for good food, conversation, and a great start to the day.

This gathering provides local veterans with an opportunity to connect, share stories, build friendships, and enjoy meaningful conversation in a welcoming and relaxed setting. Whether you served recently or many years ago, all veterans are invited to join us for companionship, community, and a great lunch.
