Recovery is where the real progress happens.
After a challenging workout, sore muscles are often a sign that your body is adapting and getting stronger—but that doesn't mean you have to stay uncomfortable.
Today I used several different styles of cupping to help encourage recovery. The softer silicone cups allowed me to use a gliding technique, gently moving across the muscles to increase circulation, reduce tightness, and improve mobility. For larger muscle groups, I used "cupcake cups," which provide a broader area of suction and are great for the back, legs, and other larger muscles.
Some of the potential benefits of cupping include:
✔️ Increased blood flow
✔️ Reduced muscle soreness
✔️ Improved range of motion
✔️ Decreased muscle tension
✔️ Faster recovery between workouts
Whether you're training hard, getting back into fitness, or simply dealing with everyday aches and stiffness, recovery should be part of your wellness plan—not an afterthought.
At JaaSpaa, I combine therapeutic bodywork with recovery techniques designed to help you move and feel your best. And through V2 Fitness, we don't just focus on the workout—we focus on helping your body recover so you're ready for the next one.
Your body works hard for you. Give it the recovery it deserves.
