I’ve literally had reps tell me “every patient should get 64 units or you’re undertreating them” 🤨

Says who?
My patients love their results and they still get good duration. That sounds like appropriate dosing to me.

Of course SOME patients do need higher amounts of units, but I can count on one hand the number of patients I have that require 64+ units for the upper face.

Maybe it’s just my particular clientele. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But a frozen face is simply not natural by any definition of the word and we need to stop trying to convince patients (and ourselves) that it is.

Proper dosing comes down to a balance of a result the patient is happy with AND duration of that result. And that takes time to dial in.

Aesthetics is medicine. Period.
It’s not a backup plan, a retirement plan, or a get rich quick scheme.
It’s a medical speciality like any other.

Aesthetic Medicine requires a very specific knowledge base and skill set that requires tremendous proficiency to provide safe and effective care for patients.

Aesthetics generally isn’t taken seriously as a medical specialty and perspectives like this are often why.

Summer is BUSY. I get it, trust me.
But every fall it’s the same story.
