Multicultural Counseling Center,MCC The Multicultural Counseling Center (MCC) was founded in February 2015 by Karla Arroyo, LCSW, Ph.D.

El MCC ofrece servicios de alta calidad a corto plazo en un ambiente de apoyo, involucrando a la familia en el proceso terapéutico.✨

The MCC provides high-quality short-term services in a supportive environment, involving the family in the process.✨ MCC was envisioned as a counseling center that provides various types of services to address mental and behavioral health, offering quality and evidence-based practices involving family and community members.

The mission statement of the Multicultural Counseling Center is to assist individuals, families, and communities in their recovery by delivering effective trauma-informed behavioral health services under a continuum-of-care model. MCC offers a continuum of care that includes therapy, case management, peer support, and skills counseling. We provide services to children, adolescents, and adults through various modalities, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy.

From the early beginning, we envisioned a practice where mental health was not limited to a one-hour therapy session but instead, a service combined with case management and advocacy to help our clients navigate the complexities of life

This feels like a good time to say, it’s okay to ask for help.

Hope isn’t just a feel-good word. It’s a phone call, a conversation, a small step toward feeling better. If you or someone you love is struggling, our providers are here, read to listen and help you find your way forward.

You don’t have to carry the load alone. Reach out to 988 or start therapy services at 801-915-0359.

Some books just give you information. These ones change how you think.

We asked our therapists which books they would recommend to anybody to read if they wanted a change of mind. Not just interesting reads, but the kind that makes you rethink how you see yourself, your relationships, and your own mind.

Swipe through to see what made the list and a little bit about it. 📚

Save this for your next trip to the library or bookstore!
