Boilermakers: Welcome Back!

As you return to campus throughout the week, you may notice construction taking place on the pedestrian bridge connecting Riehle Plaza in Lafayette to Tapawingo Park in West Lafayette.

The Cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette are completing necessary bridge repairs, paint remediation, and infrastructure improvements to help preserve the bridge while planning continues for future enhancements.

Here's what you need to know:

- The pedestrian bridge is expected to remain open during construction.

- Temporary road or lane closures may occur near Tapawingo Drive as crews unload materials and equipment.

- Portions of nearby park trails may be temporarily impacted while crews use the area for staging and equipment access.
