Aw! Thank you McMenamins West Linn Pub for honoring one of our favorite men at Tanner Spring as he celebrated his birthday. He's always excited to come have lunch with you guys that all our staff know when he's going.

But we'd have to disagree with you...we love him more 🥰 😂

Ken is as much of a West Linn Pub staple as a pint of Sunflower IPA 🍻🌻✨

Recently we raised a glass to him as he turned 94, surrounded by four generations of family: his two sons, his grandson, and his great-grandson.

A table full of stories, laughter, and the kind of legacy you can feel in the room.

We know he loves Hammerhead… but honestly, we might love him a little more.

On Cinco de Mayo, Tanner Spring celebrated with the help of Mariachi Los Gallos Salinas . Thank you for coming and playing. Everyone enjoyed the music and the excellent dining experience from our kitchen staff.

Thank you to our resident, Pat for doing the honor in cutting the ribbon to our new theater room at Tanner Spring. Our Theatre Room is now open!

The theater room is our newly remodeled "chapel". It's still used for church service and bible study but is also now used for other activities. With a new 80" screen and soundbar, and storage. Today we premiered our first movie in it.

Thank you to the Rosewood Family Singers from our sister community Rosewood Park Independent and Assisted Living for coming out to Tanner Spring and performing for us!

Rosewood Family Singers are made of residents, family and staff and range of ages 41 to 100. Everyone enjoyed them and can't wait to have them back.

Garden Club has been excited to receive donations of flowers from Trader Joe's for their centerpieces and flower arrangements around the community.

This month we had a group of residents go to Mt. Angel Abbey for lunch. Residents came back saying it was a beautiful place and their lunch was delicious.

Saturday we hosted a community Easter Egg Hunt for children in the West Linn community. Our residents loved watching them look for the golden eggs that won them special prices donated by our hospice groups. Thank you to everyone who donated or came to help!

Jerry is a big DILL at Tanner Spring! He's worn multiple hats here at Tanner but is most known for being our Med Tech. Jerry is loved by his team, family and most importantly, our residents. We appreciate everything Jerry does for Tanner Spring and hope he knows, he is a BIG DILL!

Every morning our residents in assisted living and memory care participate in group exercise after morning meeting. It's a part of our GeriActive activity program. It offers a variety of different types of senior exercises like chair Zumba, which are our residents in assisted living's favorite.

Keeping physical is important as we age. It strengthens muscles and bones, which reduces the risks of falls. It improves cardiovascular health, reducing inflammation and lowering blood pressure. It enhances mental health, which reduces depression. Encourages a social connection, which makes exercising more fun when it's done with your friends.
