🌟 Something for every stage of life at Monmouth University! 🌟

The Monmouth University Center for Speech and Language Disorders is currently registering participants for two engaging Friday groups:

👶 Early Explorers
A play-based communication group for children ages 1–3 and their caregivers. Participants enjoy songs, movement, stories, sensory play, and interactive activities that support early language development and social connection.

🗓 Fridays
⏰ 9:00–10:00 a.m.

🧠 MemoRise
A supportive communication and cognitive wellness group for adults experiencing mild cognitive impairment or early memory changes. Activities encourage conversation, memory, word-finding, problem-solving, confidence, and social connection.

🗓 Fridays
⏰ 10:30–11:30 a.m.

Both groups are held at the Monmouth University Center for Speech and Language Disorders. Advance registration is required.

📣 Fall 2026 registration is now open!

The Center for Speech and Language Disorders at the Monmouth University Graduate Center is welcoming new clients for the upcoming semester.

New clients are invited to begin by scheduling an initial evaluation through our Diagnostics Clinic. This evaluation helps us better understand each client’s communication needs, identify strengths and areas of concern, and recommend appropriate services for the semester.

We provide services for children, teens, adults, and older adults. Sessions are conducted by graduate student clinicians under the supervision of licensed and certified speech-language pathologists.

Monmouth Making a Difference - Current 2nd year SLP graduate student Abby Bynoe and supervisor Lisa Kemmerer MS CCC-SLP Class of 2016 created a school wide acceptance tree to honor Autism Acceptance Month. Each student contributed something unique, including colors, words, and drawings that reflect kindness, inclusion, and understanding. The final display serves as a visual reminder at Knollwood School in Fair Haven of acceptance and celebrating differences.
