We definitely couldn’t stay off the dance floor at our monthly birthday party with The OHANA Sisters! 💃❤️ There were lots of laughs and some serious dance moves!

Tea, treats, and time together! 🫖🌸 Activities like tea parties encourage social interaction, conversation, reminiscence, and sensory engagement, which can be especially beneficial for residents living with dementia. 💜

It’s always a fun time when Veronika, our chair Zumba instructor, comes to visit! 💃🪩 Her upbeat classes get our residents moving, smiling, and having fun. Chair exercise is a great way to support physical activity, coordination, mood, and social engagement—important benefits for residents living with dementia. 💜

Our residents enjoyed a fun trip to the bookstore, browsing the shelves and picking out some hidden gems to read! 📚❤️ Reading is a great way to encourage cognitive stimulation, spark memories, and keep the mind engaged, especially for those living with dementia. We loved watching everyone find a book that caught their interest! ✨

We had so much fun making homemade garlic knots! Our residents got hands-on during this baking demo, helping prepare, shape, and enjoy this tasty treat. Nothing beats the smell of fresh-baked garlic knots!
