As summer break comes to an end and a new school year begins, we’re reflecting on what an amazing summer it’s been for the youth in our community.
Account Manager, Patreece Barton was honored to join Mayor Marco McClendon and his team from the City of West Memphis on an educational trip to Little Rock. Students from their Community Outreach Summer Program had the opportunity to visit the Arkansas State Capitol, Little Rock Central High School, the Governor’s Mansion, and the Clinton Presidential Library. It was a great experience that allowed them to learn, ask questions, and see firsthand the importance of history, leadership, and public service.
We also had a wonderful time partnering with the Mayor’s Office, The City of West Memphis, West Memphis School District and many others for their Annual Back-to-School Supply Giveaway Bash. Seeing so many students and families come together to prepare for the new school year was truly heartwarming.
We at Perimeter always enjoy collaborating with Mayor McClendon, his Powerhouse Director of Community Outreach Theresa Bowe and those of The City of West Memphis. It’s clear how much they care about the children and the future of our city. The time and effort they continue to pour into creating opportunities for our youth does not go unnoticed, and it’s a privilege to be a small part of those efforts.
At Perimeter Behavioral Health Hospital, we believe that building healthy communities starts with investing in our children. Thank you to everyone who helped make these events a success. We wish all of our students, teachers, and families a safe, happy, and successful school year!
