When New Jersey General Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin visited Harvest during construction last year, he saw the vision taking shape. Today, he returned to our Farm to Community Center to see that vision brought to life – and to hear firsthand about the people and programing making Harvest a hub for healthier communities.

Joined by Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin and Assemblywoman Shanique Speight, Speaker Coughlin toured the center alongside Mark Manigan, our President and CEO, hearing from our Community Health leadership and team members, including Balpreet Grewal-Virk, SVP of Community Health; Barbara Mintz, SVP of Social Impact and Community Investment; and Dr. Edward Egan, Medical Director of Street Medicine, along with the Harvest team, a SNAP Navigator and a Community Health Worker.

We’re grateful to Speaker Coughlin for his continued partnership and leadership, and for helping ensure that programs like Harvest and the vital community health work happening across New Jersey can continue to receive the state support they need to grow and make a difference. Thank you Speaker Craig J. Coughlin, Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin and Assemblywoman Shanique Speight.
