For Saint Andy, art has always been more than a hobby—it has been part of who he is since childhood. He began drawing at just two years old, unknowingly starting a lifelong creative journey that led him into graphic design, tattoo artistry, and now sharing his talents at Complete Care at Summit Ridge. “Pretty much, I’ve been an artist my entire life.”
Self-taught in graphic design, Mr. Andy spent over 25 years in the corporate world creating packaging and creative materials, while also expanding his work into tattoo artistry and caricature drawing. Creativity, he says, has always come naturally.
After a period where depression led him to step away from art, his journey today is one of healing and rediscovery. Since coming to Complete Care at Summit Ridge, he says encouragement and support helped him reconnect with his passion. “Because of the care here, they brought me out of my shell,” he explained. “I’m drawing again. I’m having fun. I’ve got a smile on my face.”
Now, he creates caricatures and shares his artwork with residents and staff, bringing joy throughout the community. He also proudly celebrates a powerful personal milestone—eight months clean. We are proud to recognize Saint Andy for his strength, resilience, and the creativity he continues to share with the Complete Care at Summit Ridge community.
