Tomorrow is 988 DAY! How do I love 988? Let me count the ways: Kind 988 counselors to listen and help. It's 24/7/365. Free. It's confidential, but I can choose to be anonymous. It's quick access to behavioral health safety-net services. If I need in-person help, they can send the Mobile Response Team to where I am. It's a safe, non-traumatic phone call for behavioral health issues. 988 has reduced suicides by 11% in teens and young adults - saving lives and connecting people to care. Federal and state money covers some of the cost and it's a big bang for the bucks since it usually avoids any type of in-person response. You can TEXT or CHAT 988. I could go on and on . . . if you need help, don't wait until you are in crisis; call 988 NOW.

Let's work together to break down these barriers and make sure everyone has access to support that speaks your language, honors your background, and can respect your experiences. 🫂
