Today, we held a 9/11 Memorial Service to honor and remember all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Though that tragic day brought unimaginable loss, it also brought us together as Americans and reminded us of the strength, unity, and compassion that define our country.
We began our service with the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance. We then shared a candlelight ceremony with Cynthia, our physical therapist and an Army veteran, and concluded our service with another candle-lighting ceremony followed by a moment of silence in remembrance of those we lost.
After the service, staff and residents came together to share their personal stories and memories of where they were on 9/11. Hearing everyone’s experiences was a powerful reminder that, although we each experienced that day differently, we will always remember it together.
Days like today remind us why we love America so much — because in times of tragedy, we come together as one.
God bless those we lost, God bless our heroes, and God bless America. 🇺🇸❤️
